Tax Avoidance
is
Legal!

"The right of a taxpayer to decrease the amount of what otherwise would be his taxes, or altogether avoid them, by means which the law permits, cannot be doubted."

U.S. Supreme Court (Gregory v. Helvering 293 U.S. 465)

We are very aggressive in applying the principles that tax avoidance is indeed legal. Whether it is for businesses or individuals, we employ every legal tax deduction or tax credit possible for our clients.

Tax laws change every day. There are many changes that Congress proposes each year. While there are many who feel the current tax laws are unfair, we have no choice but to follow the law until it is changed. Many tax deductions and legal loopholes exist that both businesses and individuals can use to limit, or avoid, the payment of income tax.

As Enrolled Agents, we have to complete several hours of continuing income tax education each year. This allows us to remain fully abreast of all the latest tax law changes. Further, during this education, we are updated to all opinions issued by the federal courts. Our clients directly benefit by this continuing education as we apply the changes to any and all of their tax planning scenarios.

Smalley & Company, P.A. has nearly 30 years of specializing in taxation. We are committed to working hand in hand with our clients to reduce their income taxes to the minimum permitted by law. All clients receive professional guidance in reducing future taxes as well as limiting their current tax.
